Steven Saslow, Blackstone
Throughout his career, Steven Saslow has held various leadership positions with such New York-based companies as HSBC Bank and the Blackstone Group. He advises the Investment Committee at the latter company as a consultant to the Blackstone alternative asset management group, known as BAAM, a discretionary allocator to hedge funds. In addition, Steven Saslow offers instruction on Federal Reserve policy, options theory, and global capital markets.
Mr. Saslow likes to spend his leisure time fishing and attending the theater. He also enjoys reading, especially the works of Phillip Roth and Tom Wolfe. An avid traveler, he has visited much of Europe, favoring the cities of Barcelona and Paris. Additionally, he volunteers his professional skills and insights to Rutgers University’s Road to Wall Street program as a mentor for underclassmen with Wall Street aspirations. Further, he pursues his interest in the arts by donating to Lincoln Center, Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Second Stage Theater Company.
